We have come to the final part for my “abs food” article and i will be covering the rest of the abs food in this article

6th abs food for your abs diet – Turkey and Other Lean Meats

Turkey Breast – Turkey contains almost one-third of your daily requirements of niacin and vitamin B6.However, do avoid roasting self-basting bired as they are likely to be injected with fats.

Beef- Beef is the top food source for creatine – the substance that your body uses when you are lifting weights. However, extra care and caution needs to be undertaken when choosing the right type of beef meat as beef itself contains saturated fats. Keep a lookout for rounds or extra-lean; sirloins and New York strips for they are far less fatty than prime ribs and T-bones.

Tuna and Salmon – These fishes contains omega-3 fatty acids and protein. The omega-3 fatty acids helps lower the level of leptin in your body .The lower your leptin levels, the harder it is your body to store fats. Therefore, consuming more tuna and salmon will decrease your body’s capability to store fats

7th abs food for your abs diet – Unsweetened oatmeal

When it comes to the carbohydrates that you do take in, you want to make the most of your allotted calories. Oatmeal is a masterpiece in achieving this feat as it is able to provide you with more volume per calorie, thus helping you feel full. Choose only instant unsweetened Oatmeal as preflavoured Oatmeal often comes as a package with sugar calories. Studies have also shown that Oatmeal helps to keep our insulin levels stable by sustaining blood sugar levels longer than many other food. Keeping the insulin level is important as an increased level of insulin level will slow down our metabolism rate and will promote fats storage. Oatmeal also raises the level of testosterone in your body, helping your body to build muscle more effectively and boosting your sex drive.

Preparation of oatmeal : Enhance the flavor of unsweetened oatmeal by adding milk, berries, cinnamon or protein powder to enhance the taste and made it a complete meal.

8th abs food for your abs diet – Low-sodium cottage cheese

Protein is the key nutrient u will need for any base diet plan as it promotes muscle maintenance. However, not all proteins are the same. Choose only slow digesting protein sources as it will help keep you satisfied for the longest, preventing your body from sending the ” I am still hungry” signal to your brain. Cottage cheese being a great source of casein protein ( one of the slowest digesting protein sources ) is able to fulfill these 2 criteria to being a healthy source of protein. Go for only low-sodium cottage cheese to minimize water retention in your body as far as possible.

An effective workout program only works well with an effective abs diet. As long as you devote attention to keep to your abs diet, getting the 6 pack abs you desire is no longer an impossible feat to achieve !

Quick-fix exercises are generally poor substitutes for hard work, but the following exercises are simple enough to do in the comfort of your own home without sacrificing effectiveness. Just perform these ab exercises a few times a week is suffice enough to stimulate your abdominal muscles enough to keep your core muscles strong. Do keep in mind that you have to concurrently combine these easy ab exercises with a healthy diet to see the perfects abs that you are hoping for.

For all of the easy ab exercises, you will have to suck in your stomach to activate your transversus abdominals, the muscle that should always fire before any other core musle.

The 3 easy abs exercises that can be performed at home are as follows :

1) Crunches2) Standing Side Bends3) Double crunches

Easy ab exercises 1 – Crunches

Lie flat on your back on the floor. Take a deep breath, suck in your stomach, keep your eyes focused on the ceiling, and raise your upper body off the ground until it is at a 45-degree angle with the floor. Don’t pull on your neck, as this can lead to forward head posture, neck pain and, in extreme cases, migraine headaches. Hold the contraction for 2 to 3 seconds and slowly return to the starting position. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps.

Easy ab exercises 2 – Standing side bends

Stand up straight and suck in your stomach. Keeping your legs straight and your arms at your sides, lean from left to right. Make sure you don’t rotate at the hips; rather, keep your upper body in a forward-facing position and simply tilt your body left and right. This easy ab exercise primarily works the obliques, but it also engages the entire abdominal wall and some of the lower back muscles. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps.

Easy ab exercises 3 – Double crunches

The double crunch combines the crunch and another exercise called the knee raise, which will place more emphasis on the lower abdominal region.

Lie flat on your back against the floor with your legs in the air and your knees bent at a 90-degree angle so that your calves are parallel with the floor. Take a deep breath, suck in your stomach, keep your eyes focused on the ceiling, and raise your upper body off the ground until it is at a 45-degree angle with the floor. Once again, make sure not to pull your neck. Hold the contraction for 2 to 3 seconds and slowly return to the starting position. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps.

By following these easy ab exercises that can be done at home, you will be effectively working on your core muscles. In combination with good nutritional diet, these ab exercises can help you get easy 6 pack abs in no time.

I guess its a a well-known fact that our diet plays a significant factor in determining whether will we get the 6 pack abs we desired .No matter how great your workout routine is and how much sweat you sweated out, having the wrong type of diet will bring you nowhere to getting the 6 pack abs.

In order to get the 6 pack abs, you’re going to have to obtain very low body fat digits such that the top layer of your stomach is decreased, showing your ab muscles. In general, the abs muscles will most likely start to reveal itself once you get your body fat % to be below 10 %.However, don’t get hung up on the numbers too much. Constantly see yourself in the mirror and judge yourself whether do you still need to decrease your body fat %.

In order to decrease your fat % , you will need to incorporate “abs food” ( Foods that are specifically geared towards maximum fat loss and muscle maintenance) in your abs diet.

With that, I present you the list of the top ab foods that should be keeping your stomach’s gastric juice churning at them constantly :

1) Spinach and other vegetable

2) Egg whites

3) Apple

4) Peanut Butter

5) Diary products

6) Turkey and other lean meat

7) Unsweetened Oatmeal

 Low sodium cottage cheese

1st abs food for your abs diet – Spinach and other green vegetables

Vegetables in general, are packed with important nutrients. Spinach in particular, is a favorite vegetable recommended by most professional instructors mainly due to its extreme high value of nutrient. Spinach itself contains a substantial amount of carotenoids ( serve as biological antioxidants, protecting cells and tissues from the damaging effects of free radicals and singlet oxygen).as well as quercetin ( a phytochemical which presents antioxidant effects too.) Moreover, you will also get folic acid, vitamin K, magnesium, manganese to that and more protein from spinach than from many of the other vegetable options. It is also loaded with folate – a vitamin that protects against heart disease, stroke, and colon cancer.

Preparation Procedure : You may dress a sandwich with Spinach or stir-fry it with garlic and olive oil.

2nd abs food for your abs diet – Egg whites

Egg whites, being relatively cheap and readily available is another favorite ab food recommended by most professional trainers. Egg whites contain the highest “biological value of protein ” – allowing us to digest the protein rapidly, making the protein in eggs more effective at building muscles than protein from other food sources. Moreover, eggs also contain vitamin B12 , which is necessary for fats breakdown.

Health concern about eggs: For a long time, eggs were considered as a harmful food to consume due to its relatively high amount of cholesterol value. However, studies have actually shown that eating an egg or two each day will not increase your cholesterol fact. In fact, most blood cholesterol comes from dietary fats instead of dietary cholesterol. Therefore, you wont have to be too uptight about your cholesterol level when consuming eggs.

The remaining abs food will be covered in the article : “The top 8 abs food for your abs diet ( Part 2 )”. Do lookout for it !

We are often being bombarded with the constant flow of information from infomercial on the various types of ab exercises. However, are all the ab exercises really that effective as promised? Well, in actual fact, not all exercises are as effective as they promised. As a matter of fact, some exercises can actually cause adverse effects on our body. Knowing the difference between exercises and EFFECTIVE exercises will help a great deal in your journey of ” how to get 6 pack abs ” the effective way.Do keep in mind that the ultimate aim of any of your ab exercises should be STRIPPING away that irritating piece of flabby abdominal fats and concurrently DEVELOPING your abdominal muscles. Not all exercises are able to achieve that. That’s why, in this article, I will highlight the TOP 8 bad abs exercises that should be avoided at all times and they are :

1) Lying straight-legged leg raises (first 45 degrees off of floor, one leg at a time or both at the same time

2) Hanging leg raises with an arched back

3) Sit-ups

4) ANY machine-based ab exercise

5) ANY machine-based twisting exercise

6) Torso Twists

7) Standing Toe-Touches

Crunches1st bad ab exericse to avoid – Lying Straight-legged leg risesThis exercise is only good for exercising the LOWER abdomen but NOT for your abs. Don’t waste your precious workout time on this exercise if your goal would be to develop your abs.2nd bad ab exericse to avoid – Hanging leg raises with an arched backWhen the back is arched, the leg raises is useless in building the abs. Hanging leg raises only works great when you are doing it with a straight back.3rd bad ab exericse to avoid – Sit-upsSit-ups are usually done while anchoring your feet or keeping the legs straight along the floor. The hands are then kept behind the head or neck, and the upper body is then being lifted. Doing sit-ups this way actually strain the lower back and will tend to target the muscle of the hips and thighs rather than the abdomen.4th bad ab exercise to avoid – machine based abs exerciseAll these so called amazing abs machines are designed and built for the sole purpose of mere strengthening of the abdominal muscles. When it comes to burning abdominal fats, these machines or gadgets are totally useless! Moreover, the machines are still far less effective than floor, hanging and standing abs exercises.I will be covering the last 4 bad ab exercises to avoid in my article “The Top 8 Bad Ab Exercises to Avoid (Part 2 )”

In this article, I will be highlighting on the myth and the truth about ab machines. Read on and decide for yourself are these ab machines really useful and do they worth your investment at all.

The Myth about ab machines:

Your Exercise routines need to be coupled with “ab machines” to make the exercise work doubly well in helping you to get 6 pack abs.

The Truth about ab machines:

Most people have this wrong perception that in order to get 6 pack abs, they will just need to strengthen their abdominal muscles. Well, I would say that they are only 50% right. The fact is, in order to exhibit the 6 pack abs, you will have to first strip away that irritating abdominal fats that is covering your abdominal muscles. Only after you have stripped away that irritating abdominal fats then can u start the process of strengthening your abdominal muscles, and losing the abdominal fats is what the abs machines have failed to achieve.

Those abs machines or gadgets are designed and built for the sole purpose of mere strengthening of the abdominal muscles only. When it comes to losing the excessive abdominal fats, the ab machines or gadgets are totally useless in helping you to achieving that.

Forget about all the media bogus about all these so called wondrous amazing ab machines that promise to deliver you the perfect abs. And remember that only Real workout and Real nutrition strategies are able to help you to strip away those irritating abdominal fats. Real workout refers to workout that increases your metabolism and stimulates your fat-burning & muscle building hormones in your body.(Shall not elaborate on what workout is beneficial in this article )In order to reap the most benefits from the workout, you will also need to follow a nutritious diet as well. I mean, you cant be expecting to be seeing noticeable results when you are sweating all out today and eating your favorite McDonald’s meal the next day.

Ok. Now, if we are to disregard the aspect about the fact that the ab machines are not useful in helping us lose fats. Lets assume that we are all great individuals with absolutely little or no abdominal fats and we would only want to strengthen on our abdominal muscles. Are these ab machines more useful or better than any abdominal exercises?

Well, I would still hold my stand that these ab machines are still not that useful after all. Yes, these ab machines may be useful with strengthening of the abdominal muscles but they are still far less effective when compared to the floor, hanging and standing abs exercises.

Therefore, my verdict would be: Try not to invest time and money on abs machines when there are other better abs exercises to help you get 6 pack ab.

I’m here to inform you about how to get your dream washboard abs. Straight, to the point, no-bull crap advice. Most experts and training gurus will tell you it’s not hard. If you put in the time the results will follow. If you do EXACTLY what they tell you you’ll have your washboard abs in no time. So what happens when you don’t get results? When you don’t get that 6 pack you wanted? When you’re stuck with the beer belly you desperately wanted to get rid of?Nothing at all, they make up excuses saying you didn’t follow the program properly, you screwed up, you did this, you did that…..Nothing ever points back to them.Well I’ll tell you what it takes to get your washboard abs. It’s a formula I made up that integrates one key ingredient 90% of the fitness world forgets. Work Ethic + Commitment + Knowledge = ResultsKnowledge is the key to this formula. I want to share something with you that will increase your knowledge on how to get your washboard abs. It’s called segmentation. Online marketers know what I’m talking about. But how does this relate to fitness? Well it’s perfectly legit. Any smart fitness pro knows that when you build a muscle group, you NEED to build all the muscles around that group in order for your results to really show. Sure, you can focus solely on that one group and might be able to push more or lift heavier after a few weeks, but your body won’t look any different. Why is this? It is pretty simple. Your body likes being balanced. Your chest won’t get bigger unless you work out the upper, lower, center and even your shoulders contribute to its bulk. It has a capacity as to how much it can expand in relation to its counterparts. So what does this have to do with abs?Well just like any other muscle group the abs needs to be segmented. You have the upper abs, lower abs, obliques, and lower back that all contribute, in sync, to provide you with washboard ripping abs. So know that you know you have to workout all the parts of your abs, how do you go about this?Like I said before, segmentation. You need to break your routine up; each group should be worked out on a separate day. Upper abs one day, obliques the next, and then lower abs (lower back can be worked out with the back). If you’re thinking you can simply work out all of them in one day, you’re completely wrong; just like 90% of the other fitness people. Sure, that might work to get rid of some fat and trim your stomach a bit. The problem with this is effectiveness. Your core is the epicentre of your fitness life, and if you work out all direct groups related to your core on the same day; well…you’re not really working out any at all. Your exercises will be too broad and won’t target each specific group well enough. For an example, if you work out every ab muscle group on Monday – realistically you probably won’t get to them again until Thursday, nonetheless your workout will only be semi-targeted, not super-targeted! But, if you segment your routine like I stated above, you can work out a different part of your abs every time you work out. Not only will you be getting more ab exercises in throughout the week, your ab routine will be extremely targeted (another pun for you internet marketers!), which is exactly what you want!So the secret is segmentation. Any fitness trainer who tells you to work your abs 2X a week is full of it. You need to constantly be nagging at them to get the true washboard abs!Read more about fitness advice and tips @ http://www.Optimal-Fitness-Gateway.com

It has been quite a common occurrence to encounter people who have invested lots of their precious time in abs training and yet, have not seen any visible improvement in their abs area at all. This phenomenon is due to the fact that they have either choose the wrong ab exercises for their workout or have worked too much on the same workout exercises.

Having an effective abs workout program is essential in helping you get the 6 pack abs.Choosing what ab exercises should you do and deciding how intense your abs exercise shall be is what constitutes of an effective abs workout program.

Therefore,in this article, I will be covering on what abs exercises should you do and how intense should your exercises be.

Exercise Selection.

A common myth of abs training is you should work your “upper abs” and “lower abs” separately. However . the truth is that, you can’t separate working these muscles as they contract simultaneously during any ab exercises.

If you are going for agility , you will need to focus on decreasing your base of support as much as possible. In other words, you will need to focus on ab exercises which requires you to stabilize your ab muscles while doing it. In this way, your muscle fiber tissue will be worked on most effectively, giving you the most workout possible.

Some ab exercises that require stability are as follows :

1) Abdominal work on an exercise ball2) Twisting work standing on a bosu ball3) Partner work with medicine balls.

If you are going for strength and are using weight, you will need to execute movements that require you to move through a large range of motion. By doing this, your ab muscles can be strengthened from the greatest angles possible.

Some good ab exercises for strength build up –

1) Decline sit-ups2) Cable cross-bends

An important point to take note about abs exercises :

Our body has an extremely high adaptation ability towards any exercises. Once your abs muscles have adapted itself to a particular abs exercises, the abs exercises wont be as effective as before anymore. Therefore, we will need to introduce variability in our abs exercises for our abs workout program.Hence, Abs exercises must be changed on a regular basis if you want to see results fast.

Intensity of abs exercises

The intensity of abs exercises varies from individual to individual. Knowing what volume of abs exercises is needed for you brings you a step closer to getting the 6 pack abs.

Bear in mind that the weight lifted during training is indirectly proportional to the total reps you do. In other words, the more weights you use the fewer reps you should be doing.

If your objective is agility, two or 4 sets of weightless abdominal works will be enough ( with each sets limiting yourself to the 10-15 reps range )

On the other hand, If your objective is strength, you should be doing weighted abdominal training. Therefore, you should be going for fewer reps ( 3-6 reps range ) and increasing the number of sets to 6 to 10. This would be enough to have some good muscle size growth.
